Head southeast from Zalissya, and you’ll pass a large lake on your left. In the center of the lake, you’ll spot a strange, pulsating bubble. It’s extremely dangerous, so save your game before getting too close. The bubble constantly grows and shrinks – when it expands, it sucks things in from the lake’s edge, and when it shrinks, it spits them back out.
Bulba’s breathing is easy to notice; you can hear and see the bubble changing shape as it inhales and exhales. When Bulba inhales, anything within 50 meters is pulled toward it, including cars, which will be destroyed but reappear when Bulba exhales.
Approach the bubble carefully. Only move when it’s shrinking, and always make sure there’s something between you and the bubble when it starts growing, or you’ll get hurt.
When the bubble begins to pull things in, use the ambulance and van as cover — they’ll protect you from immediate danger. Crouching behind the cover will offer extra protection. The bubble can still harm you even with cover, so be ready to use healing items if necessary. Don’t leave your cover while Bulba is breathing.
After Bulba exhales, you’ll have a brief 2-3 second window to move around freely. Avoid jumping while Bulba is breathing, making it easier for the bubble to pull you in. You can resist the pull by moving away from the bubble. You aim to get as close as possible to the bubble, near the ambulance. There, you’ll find a special item called a Weird Ball, which will make you more resistant to bullets with no negative effects.
Weird Flower: Poppy Field Arch Anomaly
Description | One of the legendary “altered items” often mentioned in hushed tones by stalkers around the campfire. |

Use your artifact detector to locate the Weird Flower Artifact in the Poppy Field, located in the Lesser Zone area. However, be cautious – spending too much time in the field will make you drowsy and eventually die. Make sure to use your medical kits regularly to keep your health up.
Weird Nut: Fire Whirl Arch Anomaly
Description | One of the legendary “altered items” often mentioned in hushed tones by stalkers around the campfire. Eerily cold to the touch, this unusual nut promotes rapid blood coagulation when attached to your belt, though the wounds themselves take longer to heal. |

To get the Weird Nut, head to the middle section of the scaffolding. It’s hidden in the glowing structure, but reaching it requires navigating a challenging jumping puzzle. What makes it tough is the tornado that expands and contracts, heating up the area around it. If you’re caught in the expanding heat, you will start taking severe burn damage, so stay sharp.
To move forward, go to the east side of the Cooling Tower and look for a ladder. Climb up, then take the second ladder to reach the scaffolding. Once you’re there, head left and carefully jump over any gaps to avoid falling. Stick to the outer edges of the area, where it’s safer, as the expanding fire won’t reach you there.
As you move forward, you’ll come across scaffolding covering the area. When the fire expands, it heats up the scaffolding, making it too dangerous to cross. Wait for the fire to pull back before proceeding. Walk carefully along the beam while the fire is down, but be quick – it will expand again soon. Keep following the beam onto the walkway, jump to the next section, and repeat until you make it to the other side of the tower.
At this point, it’s a good idea to save your progress, as the next section is critical. Wait for the fire to expand, making sure you’re not caught in it. Once it starts to pull back, follow it along the walkway and jump to the other side. The Legendary Weird Nut Artifact will be in the corner there. Afterward, carefully drop down, crouch, and jump onto the structure below.
Continue making your way down to the ground safely and leave the area before the fire expands again. Be careful not to jump straight down from the structure – it might seem like a short drop, but it’s enough to kill you. Take your time and go step by step.
Weird Pot: Mist Arch Anomaly
Description | One of the legendary “altered items” often mentioned in hushed tones by stalkers around the campfire. |
---|---|
Effects | Although the pot is empty, steam is always wafting from beneath its lid. This item helps to allay one’s thirst and hunger, but be careful: the Zone’s gifts can be unpredictable. |
Rarity | Epic |
Weight | 0.65 kg |

In the Burnt Forest region, head to the location marked on your map. The mist anomaly in the area can easily make you lose your way, so stay alert. There’s a mysterious house hidden in the mist, and you might encounter some mutants nearby, so proceed with caution. Once you find the rundown wooden house and enter, you’ll notice that both doors are blocked by cupboards. Go to the window and shoot the roof several times to break through the wooden ceiling completely.
Walk around the wooden houses until you find a cave in the yard, marked by a broken brick gate. Enter the cave to continue with the puzzle. Inside the cave, pick up a room key. The cave will lead you to an old room. Make your way to a locked door with a large lock on it. Shoot the lock several times to break it and open the door to the next room. Once you open the second locked door, you’ll find an exit from the house. Head to the back of the house, then go into the mist to reach the next house.
Enter the house and open the second door, as shown in the image above. Once inside, use the wooden boxes to climb up to the attic. The attic lets you drop down into another room. In that room, check by the fireplace, and you’ll find the Weird Pot.
Weird Water: Wandering Lights Arch Anomaly

At night, head to the Wandering Lights in the Zaton region to find the Weird Water artifact. The artifact is lying on the ground near the lights, but be careful – touching the lights will drain your health, and mutant enemies will spawn as soon as you enter the area. Keep moving to stay safe. You can use any artifact detector to help find the Weird Water. It’s located near the light at the edge of the area, but the mist can make it hard to spot. Use your detector or move between lights until you find it. Stay alert, and you’ll find it.
Weird Bolt: Tornado Arch Anomaly
Description | One of the legendary “altered items” often mentioned in hushed tones by stalkers around the campfire. As long as this bolt is charged and secured to your belt, it reduces damage from anomalies. It takes a lot of anomalous energy to recharge, though – far beyond what regular anomalies can offer. |

After unlocking the Yaniv region, you can find the Weird Bolt artifact in the tornado anomaly area. When you reach the location, you’ll see a massive tornado. Position yourself at the center, and the Weird Bolt will come to you. Grab it quickly and then make your way to safety. It might seem straightforward, but the tornado constantly damages you, so make sure to heal yourself regularly, or you risk dying. Before entering the area, save your game to avoid having to retrace your steps if you don’t get the artifact.
To get to the heart of the tornado, you’ll need to reach the crane arm. First, use the cable roll near the containers to jump onto one and climb up to the top of the crane arm. Once you’re there, wait for the tornado to approach. Keep an eye on your health, and soon the Weird Bolt will come flying toward you. Grab it quickly and then hurry down to escape the tornado.
