Collecting these shy creatures will reveal enchanting melodies that enrich your in-game soundtrack and touch your adventures with a little bit of magic. Most Musicflies are easily found and conveniently collected in groups by region so your musical search is a very whimsical exploration to carry out.
All 19 Musicfly Locations
Wuthering Waves has 19 Musicflies scattered across different regions. Collecting these Musicflies will reward you with musical notes. These notes will be added to your soundtrack and can be enjoyed in the Archive of Melodies. Most Musicflies are easy to find and are grouped by region for convenient collection.
Song: Merry Plushie Friends
You’ll find this Musicfly in the far north of Nimbus Sanctum, flying around the pegasus-fish statue. You can spot it across the water to the north of the Lorelei boss arena.
Song: Where Oracles Are No Longer Heard
To the far east of Rinacita, east of the Oakheart Highcourt, you’ll find a small island. There, you can collect a Sonance Casket and a Musicfly.
Song: The Day of Final Rest
Follow the road southwest from the Penitent’s End Resonance Nexus. You’ll encounter a blue-glowing tree along the way. The Musicfly should be on your left, nestled among some rocks near the first tree.
Song: Wrecked and Stranded
To the northeast of the Penitent’s End Resonance Nexus, you’ll see a series of steep cliffs plunging into a misty landscape. Head down to the first platform below the main cliff face. There, you’ll find the Musicfly hovering near a Wingray.
Song: Song of the Fools
The third Musicfly in Penitent’s End is located just east of the ‘Wrecked and Stranded’ music note. You’ll find it on a path that winds through the mist.
Song: As the Divine Hath Spoken
The only Musicfly in the Hallowed Reach is located northeast of the southernmost bridge. You’ll find it along the path that runs beside a small fountain.
Song: Waves Sing Goodnight
On the northeastern edge of the Falls, bordering the Garden of the Lost, you’ll find a small ruin that you can climb. Near the top, underneath the highest platform, you’ll find the Musicfly fluttering about.
Song: As Night Sinks into Abyss
Northeast of the Waves Sing Goodnight Musicfly, on the upper level of the Garden of the Lost, you’ll find a large tree with brown leaves. The Musicfly flits around its trunk.
Song: When Night Rests on the Cliffs
In the southeastern part of Thessaleo Falls, you’ll find Porto-Veno Castle. The Musicfly is fluttering around the fountain located in front of the bridge that leads into the castle estate.
Song: Where Wind Whispers
From the Whisperwind Haven Resonance Nexus, head in a northeasterly direction. You’ll find a small set of ruins along the road. The Musicfly seems to be flitting along the cobblestones.
Song: Wind-kissed Haven
Go to the Egla Village Resonance Beacon. From there, head north towards the northwestern part of the town. The Musicfly seems to be flying through the fields.
Song: Curtains Up for Reveries
To reach Silver Moon Grove island in the north of Rinacita, fly north from the Polyphemos Windmills. Once on the island, the Musicfly is located just north of the Resonance Nexus.
Song: A Dream Soaked in Mist
Go to the Resonance Nexus in the west of Nimbus Sanctum. From there, look north across the water. You should see the Musicfly flying around a large lamp that’s glowing blue.
Song: The Midnight Elegy
Look for the Musicfly among the pink flowers on a beach in the mist. It’s located directly west of the Sentry Construct boss arena. To get there, head to the Resonance Beacon on the tower that’s a bit closer to the boss, but still to the west. Then, fly over the bridge and descend into the mist below.
Song: Save Me From the Tides of Mundanity
Chances are, you already found this Musicfly if you started your journey towards the Midnight Elegy Musicfly from this tower. It’s located directly west of the Sentry Construct arena.
Song: Efficiency is Wealth
Chances are, you already found this Musicfly if you started your journey towards the Midnight Elegy Musicfly from this tower. It’s located directly west of the Sentry Construct arena.
Song: The Idyllic Refuge
You might have already spotted this Musicfly on the bridge that leads towards the Averardo Vault. It’s located between the Vault and the Sentry Construct arena. If you missed it, that’s where you’ll find it.
Song: Lost on the Pilgrim’s Path
To reach the Musicfly, you’ll need to go to the center of Oakheart Highcourt. There’s a game board there. Use it to move one of your black pieces to the bottom left position. This will open a path to the Musicfly, which is flying around a statue behind some enemies.
Song: Gondola’s Journey
At the southernmost point of Oakheart Highcourt, you’ll find a large, bent tree with orange leaves. The Musicfly is fluttering around it and the rock it’s growing from.
