With ‘Adventures in the Water City’ you are sent in search of numerous Echos and their interactions located throughout the effervescent metropolis of Raguuna – from towering statues and mischievous musicians, to hidden wonders beneath the waters, these give a glimpse of the unique personality of this odd aquatic metropolis. This guide gives you all the locations and step-by-step instructions to find all 12 Echos, helping you complete this wonderful side quest and uncover the hidden charms of Raguuna.
All 12 Echo Locations In The Water City
The ‘Adventures in the Water City’ quest involves visiting specific locations and interacting with certain things or characters. You’ll usually be given pretty clear clues about where to go, but if you ever get stuck, we’re here to help you find them.
Signor Octopus
You’ll find two Signor Octopus Echos perched on the towers in Raguuna City Square. While you can interact with them, it won’t unlock the Adventures in Water City entry. Instead, climb the archways that connect the towers and stand in the highlighted spot. You’ll then receive a prompt to ‘Observe Signore Octopus,’ which will complete the entry.
Lucerna
Lucerna can be a bit tricky to spot, but it’s actually quite simple to find. Stand beneath the main archway that leads into Raguuna City Square and look for the ‘Observe Lucerna’ prompt. Once you see it, simply take a photo of Lucerna with your Zoom Camera.
Plushie Squad
The Plushie Squad can be found right behind Lucerna, near the fountain in Raguuna City Square. You’ll hear their music as you approach, and you’ll see a prompt to stand near the ground. Observe the Plushie Squad and take a photo of them with your Zoom Lens to add them to your collection.
Bakie
You can find Bakie at Trattoria Margherita, a local pizza place. She’ll be busy helping prepare delicious food. You’ll interact with her during the story, but you can also find her by following the fork and knife symbol on your map.
Mercurio
Mercurio is an Echo you’ll likely encounter naturally as you play the beginning of the story. If you haven’t met him yet, you can find him on Bank Street. He’s located at the Averardo Bank Counter, which is marked by a present sign on your map. Simply speak to Mercurio to add him to your collection.
Hadrian’s Gladiator
In the Montelli Quarters, you can find the Hadrian Gladiator near the docks on the right side. Instead of going into the quarters, explore the area to the right and head down towards the docks. There, you’ll spot a gladiator named Echo depicted in a painting. Take a picture of it to add to your ‘Adventure in Water City’ collection.
Tubpup
In the center of the Montelli Quarter’s bathhouse, you’ll find Tubpup Echo gazing out towards the horizon. Jump onto the platform opposite him and interact with the highlighted blue area to add another item to your ‘Adventure in Water City’ collection.
Aria Mummer
Follow the side quest marker for La La Echo, and you’ll quickly find Aria Mummer. Tommaso will introduce you to Melody, a musical creature, and ask you to play some music for it. Interact with Melody and then talk to Tommaso again to complete the entry for Aria Mummer in your adventure collection.
Lario
Lario resides in Fool’s Elysium, which is located a bit further away. You’ll find him in an underground cavern that has only two entrances. Try flying into the cavern from the entrance on the west side of Penitent’s End island. Once inside Fool’s Elysium, locate Lario, the massive turtle that Brant rides. Stand in front of him and you’ll see a prompt to take a picture of him with your Zoom Camera. Capture the photo, and you’ll successfully add Lario to your collection.
C-Moss
C-Moss is a photography Echo that you can find in the Raguuna City Square, right beside the Pioneer Association NPC. Simply interact with C-Moss, and it will start striking poses for you to capture. Once you do, you’ll receive the Adventure in Water City entry.
Farceur’s Faces
You can encounter Farceur’s Faces by progressing through the main story or by simply walking into the City Square and heading to the left. You won’t be able to miss them – they’re two enormous singing heads! Just watch them perform to add them to your collection.
Gondola
The Gondola Market is marked on your map with a grocery symbol. To find it, turn right just before you reach the entrance to the City Square and then continue walking towards the edge of the city. You’ll spot a large Echo Gondola there. Interact with it to add it to your collection.
