The Portal for the Abyss in AION 2 takes players to the Abyss, which is a vast PvP zone that allows players from various factions to explore and fight in. It is possible for players to gain entry into the Abyss when they are Level 45, although the player should have a sufficient Item Level to gain entry. Abyss Portal In AION 2
The Abyss Portal opens up at Level 45 in AION 2, but just having Level 45 will not be sufficient to access it. You need to have an adequate Item Level; hence, you should check whether your gear is sufficient before attempting access.
Once you complete this episode, look for Dropner instructions in relation to the Abyss. You need about 1,000 Item Level for Lower Rishanta. Even if you have 700 Item Level and Level 45 and try accessing this area, you might end up seeing the gate but failing to access it.
Upgrading your gear is the easiest way to increase your Item Level. Some of the main methods of doing so include Sealed Dungeons, belts, amulets, and feathers, among others.
Middle Rishanta is another area with a requirement of roughly 3,000 Item Level in old regions. It is important to note that different areas in the Abyss have their own Item Level requirements, and hence, you should not necessarily assume that Upper Rishanta is the hardest one.
How To Enter The Abyss
Once you fulfil the Item Level requirement, go to your faction’s teleporter in the hub location. You must not search for any rift on the map, as that is not the way you enter the Abyss. The teleporter will transport you to your faction’s base in Lower Rishanta. The base you’ll go to will depend on the faction that you’ve selected. Once there, bind your Kyisk before doing anything else.
You may also visit the Command Merchant there to see what items and services are available. The Abyss layer is shared among all servers. This means that you can meet players from different servers but from your faction. The opposing faction will have their base in another place.
There is limited time given for your stay in the Abyss. Keep an eye on your remaining time there as you need to leave before it expires. The weekly ticket is renewed through the weekly reset and gives you new time in the Abyss.
