A Lamp and a Promise Quest
To start the A Lamp and A Promise quest in Where Winds Meet, head to South Gate Avenue in Kaifeng City. Near the entrance of an abandoned house, you will see Wei Liangquan proposing. Just behind him, two boys are watching from the street. Talk to one of them, Liu Fen, to begin the quest.
After that, change the in-game time to Zi (Next Day). Head around to the back of the house and climb in through the window. Then enter the house. Go around to the back of the house and climb inside through the window.
Once you are inside, look around and inspect a few things. Start with the jewellery on the right, then check the diary next to it. It gives you a hint. After that, turn left and find the candle in the room. Remember to change the time to Zi (Next Day). Once it switches, you will be able to light the candle. Doing that will finish the quest.
After you light it, a short cutscene with a cat will play. This completes the quest, and you will receive your rewards: Meow Meow Coin ×5, Coin ×2500, Oscillating Jade ×2, Stored EXP ×2500, and Kaifeng Exploration ×30.
