A Blessing in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, From the Ashes DLC takes you across sacred Na’vi ground and hostile RDA territory in search of Teylan. This quest blends exploration, combat, and stealth as you track his movements from Dawn’s Glade to Frontier Port Echo, unlock a powerful new RDA knife, and sabotage critical ship systems to progress the story.
Starting the Quest at Dawn’s Glade
In the From the Ashes DLC, during the A Blessing quest, you’ll need to start your journey by searching for Teylan at Dawn’s Glade. You’ll need to start your journey near the Kinglor Forest by going to the location (Dawn’s Glade) marked on the map image above. Once you arrive in Dawn’s Glade, start to investigate the Mangkwan camp for signs of Teylan.
When you call out for Teylan, you’ll see a Mangkwan Raider come your way. Her name is Hayn and you’ll need to defeat her in order to proceed with your search for Teylan. What you can do next is follow the trail of white tana’ring flowers and you’ll come across Zeykoma; remember, eating the Zeykoma fruit grants you with one permanent additional Health Segment.
Teylan will finally decide to reach you through the radio, telling you how he followed the Mangkwan to the coast.
How to Get to the Docks at Frontier Port Echo
Start from going to Frontier Port Echo and entering the cargo ship in order to find Teylan. But first, you’ll have to either find a maintenance tunnel under the ship or open the ship’s cargo door somehow. Finding your way shouldn’t be too difficult of a task but you might need to deal with some enemies first. Once you’ve dealt with them, dive underwater and you’ll find the way to the maintenance tunnel under the ship. Move through the tunnel keeping to your right and you’ll eventually come across the system that’ll help you open the ship’s cargo door.
Once you’re inside, start searching for Teylan and you’ll come across an area which has “BRIDGE” written on the wall with staircases in front of it and a dead enemy lying by. Go up and you’ll finally find Teylan who apologizes for what he did. Teylan upon seeing a new blade on you will take and modify it so that it’s capable of destroying RDA systems.
The next task for you and Teylan both is to use the new RDA knife to sabotage the ship’s engines. There’s Engines A and B which you need to sabotage but don’t worry, Teylan will help you by staying in contact. Once you destroy both Engines, the ship will start flooding and a security alert will be announced.
Note: You can use the RDA Knife to shock most Mechanical Enemies like AMP Suits and Hellhounds.
Now, you need to find your way out of the cargo ship and for this, you’ll have to find a way through the cargo hold. Once you reach the cargo hold, eliminate the few enemies that you’ll find there and sabotage the system. Once that’s done, you’ll see that a Mangkwan Raider named Uknam has appeared. You’ll need to defeat her in order to reach the deck.
How to Destroy the RDA’s Cargo Docks
Once you reach the deck, Teylan will tell you how it’s swarming with RDA and Hellhounds. The good news is that Teylan will eventually get into their security system and flip them over so that they start attacking each other. All you have to do here is participate in destroying the RDA cargo docks and wait for Teylan to come out from inside the ship. Your mission is to successfully destroy the fuel silos, control tower electrical systems, and parked aircraft on the deck while dealing with enemies.
Once everything at the Frontiers Port Echo is destroyed, all you’ll need to do is fly with Teylan to the Resistance Safehouse. Completing this quest rewards you with the Shotgun which deals a +40% Damage to Weak Spots, has Extended Magazine, and Nimble Grip.
