Chapter 4 of South of Midnight, Wicked Temper, is full of creepy swamps, secret notes, and a suspenseful confrontation with an enormous gator. As Hazel and Catfish venture deeper into the dark waters, there are some important collectibles to discover along the way. This walkthrough will guide you through each collectible in Chapter 4, including notes and the evasive Health Filament, so you won’t have to miss any of them on your journey through the spooky bayou.
All Chapter 4 Collectibles Locations
In Chapter 4 – Wicked Temper, Hazel and Catfish face off against a massive gator lurking in the surrounding waters. The fourth Storybook is added to your collection automatically when the chapter starts. You can select it anytime to rewatch the scene or replay the chapter.
Number 1 Collectible Grocery List
After the first fight, keep moving forward until you reach a fork in the path. Take the left trail that leads to a cabin by the water. Look to the left side of the cabin near the shoreline there are some grappling points that take you to the back dock. The note is sitting on a barrel there.
Number 2 Collectible Lay Off Buddy
After grabbing the “Grocery List,” head back to the front of the same cabin and go inside. You’ll find the note lying on the bed.
Number 2 Collectible Lord’s Day
When you reach the church cemetery, stick to the right and go through the open gate. Keep to the right again, and you’ll spot several grapple points that lead you into the swamp.
You’ll land near some more graves. From there, use the floating platforms and grapple points to continue forward until you reach a cave that’s where you’ll find the Health Filament.
