In Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Stolen Faith, you embark on a crucial mission to secure reinforcements for the battle ahead. Mitsumune, a militia leader, holds the key to strengthening your forces, but his people are demoralized and hesitant to fight. Their reluctance stems from the recent theft of a sacred statue, a symbol of their unity and resolve. To gain their support, you must infiltrate a bandit stronghold, retrieve the stolen artifact, and restore their faith.
Stolen Faith Quest Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Kyonyo entrusts you with the task of gathering reinforcements from Mitsumune, providing key intelligence on his location. He is currently camped at Nunobiki Falls, situated north of Amagasaki in Izumi Settsu. To reach him, open your map and locate Amagasaki in western Izumi Settsu. From there, follow the river flowing toward Amagasaki and trace it north into the mountains until you arrive at Nunobiki Falls. If you’re having trouble pinpointing his exact location due to the fog of war, you can use a scout to reveal it on the map.
A Leader’s Reluctance and a Lost Sacred Statue
Upon finding Mitsumune, he will be reluctant to join the attack. His main concern is that his forces are too small to take on Wada Koretake and risk complete annihilation in a direct assault. The morale of his faction is already low, worsened by the recent theft of a sacred statue by bandits. Seeing an opportunity to gain his support, Naoe offers to retrieve the statue, believing that restoring it will inspire Mitsumune’s forces to rally behind her cause and turn the tide of battle against Wada Koretake.
Tracking the Bandits to Senri Hills
Mitsumune provides you with crucial information about the stolen statue. It was taken to Toneyama Post Town in Senri Hills, where it is now under the guard of bandits. To locate them, you must travel northeast of Amagasaki. If you’ve already discovered it, the bandit camp lies directly east of the Koyana Ruins along the Path of Valor. To pinpoint their exact location, head northeast from where “Senri Hills” is marked on your map, and you’ll find the camp tucked along the mountainside.
Infiltrating Toneyama Post Town
Toneyama Post Town is filled with bandits, but they are spread out, making it an ideal target for a stealthy approach, whether during the day or night. To infiltrate the camp, start by entering through the southwestern entrance. Wait for the bow-wielding bandit to turn away on his patrol, then take him out. Hide behind the barricade on your left and eliminate the next bandit when he comes to investigate. Moving forward, take cover in the bushes ahead and use a whistle to lure one of the bandits from the main road before stealthily dispatching him. Repeat this tactic around the nearby tree to deal with the second bandit.
Retrieve the Statue
The statue is inside a house with a walled compound further ahead on your left. Use the stacked hay and boxes against the wall to climb onto the roof, giving you a vantage point to spot all enemies within the compound. Once you have a clear view, climb down and lure the guards at the left entrance into the bushes for an easy kill.
Enter the compound through the side entrance and use the same tactic to clear the ground floor. Once the area is secure, head inside and retrieve the sacred statue from the corner of the room. With the statue in hand, sneak back out of the camp and return to Mitsumune. Grateful for your efforts, he asks you to deliver the statue to Kyonyo and pledges his support in the upcoming battle.
