The Speartuna fish is most commonly found in Area 13 and Area 17 of the Scarlet Forest during the Fallow season, especially in the morning. It’s easy to recognize, looking like a small Swordfish and noticeably larger than the other fish in the water. Sometimes, but not always, you can spot a Speartuna by looking for rough waters. These spots are marked by a white, foamy circle on the surface, a clear sign that a Speartuna might be nearby. How to Catch Speartuna in Monster Hunter Wilds
The Speartuna only bites when you use Tuff Joint Bait. This bait is a quest-exclusive item you can get during the side quest “The Catch of a Lifetime”, which becomes available in Chapter 4. - Once the Speartuna bites, it will dart left and right to break free. Follow its movements:

- Sometimes, the Speartuna will jump out of the water — stay focused and follow its movements again:
