How to get the Wedding Clothes
Whether you’re going with the blacksmith, Radovan, or the miller, Kreyzl, neither of them will let you join them for the wedding if you’re not dressed appropriately. To find the tailor, go to Troskowitz. On the east side of town, look for a building along the path leading to the cemetery. He’ll be inside. Just go in and talk to him to browse his wares. When you talk to the tailor, you can ask him, “Can I go to the wedding like this?” He’ll then tell you whether your outfit is good enough or not. Just keep in mind, wedding-appropriate clothes aren’t cheap, so you’ll need to make some money quickly!
If you’re short on cash, you could try stealing the clothes. Go outside the tailor’s shop and throw a rock through a window (crouch while doing this). While he’s checking out the noise, quickly sneak in and grab what you need. The front shelf has a nice Burgher Coat and some good hose. Be warned though, if you get caught, you’ll have trouble with the guards the next time you’re in town and will have to pay a fine or face punishment. Buying the clothes is definitely safer if you can afford it. The good news is, no one at the wedding will know if your clothes are stolen.
How to Choose the Wedding Clothes
There’s no single “right” wedding outfit, but you do need to meet a few conditions. First, no armor allowed (helmet, chest piece, shoulder guards, etc.). Second, your clothing must give you at least 15 Charisma. Third, you need something covering your torso, legs, and feet. A hat might be necessary too – the tailor liked my outfit better with one, even though the Charisma boost is what really matters. Here are some clothing items that work well for the wedding: Fitted Coat, Courtiers Boots or High Boots, Noble’s Quilted Hose, and a Cap with Peacock Feathers (or similar). Once you’ve chosen your outfit, ask the tailor “Can I go to the wedding like this?” to double-check if it’s acceptable.
