This might seem like a very difficult task, but it is easy to do if one concentrates only on the local objectives, such as SAM sites, UAV towers, and Supply Drops. Side Ops are quite different from the Operation Orders, requiring the player to pick up a phone. They consist of actions like capturing SAM Sites, activating UAV Towers, completing Supply Drops, and defeating commanders. There are about 12 Side Ops altogether in the game, and the achievement of any six of them will be valid for the challenge.
Upon joining the match, players should find the nearest SAM Site or UAV Tower. These actions are easy to achieve and quite often are situated near the location of your spawn point. Capturing the SAM Site and subsequently activating the UAV Tower is the second Side Op for players. It should be noted that players cannot get credit for capturing the same SAM Sites or UAV Towers more than once.
The SAM sites are especially useful since they are capable of shooting down enemy helicopters, which might give you the Supply Drop to complete and earn some extra progress. Therefore, SAM sites are quite a good choice as the initial locations in case you want to complete six Side Ops in one single deployment.
It is easy to distinguish Side Ops missions since they are shown through special prompts displayed on the left side of your screen once you get near a certain activity. It must be noted that many of these Side Ops are situated near one another and thus do not take much time to visit all of them.
The challenge does not display your progress directly on the main screen. To check how many Side Ops you have completed, open the menu using the touchpad or Start button. You will be able to see your current progress there and find out how many more you need.
Another important thing that should be kept in mind is that your team members will be able to assist you in achieving this objective. In case any member of your team manages to capture a SAM Site or activate a UAV Tower or complete any other Side Op, it would also contribute to your objective completion.
If you are close to completing the challenge but still need one or two more Side Ops, use the time before exfiltration arrives to finish the remaining objectives. Head to the nearest available activities with your teammates, complete them, and then make your way to the exfil point to complete the Opulent challenge in DMZ.
