Upgrades are essential for survival in Sniper Elite: Resistance, and workbenches are the way to do it. These secret locations offer valuable upgrades and modifications for your rifles, pistols, and secondary weapons. This guide details the locations of all three workbenches in Mission 5, “Devil’s Cauldron,” outlining how to find them and what rewards they offer. While the game tracks which workbenches you’ve discovered, it doesn’t pinpoint their locations on the map, so get ready to explore!
All Workbench Locations/Devil’s Cauldron in Mission 5
There are plenty of guns at hand to take down your opponents in Sniper Elite: Resistance. Apart from the common equipment, there are modifications and upgrades offered for your arsenal as well. Workbenches are not collectibles; they are what you need to upgrade your guns. Unlocking attachments for your rifle, secondary weapon, and pistol can be done with a workbench.
Mission 5 hides three workbenches, one with each, providing valuable materials for upgrades and modifications. To locate these hidden workbenches will greatly help improve your arsenal and increase the likelihood of victory. They’re located throughout the map, hidden away in corners, behind closed doors, behind some locked and barred doors or behind explosive destruction. The prize for finding each of the hidden workbenches is listed below.
While you can check which workbenches you’ve discovered in the Service Record menu (found on the pause screen), the game won’t mark their locations on your map. You’ll have to explore and find them on your own.
Mission 5: Workbench Location 1
You’ll find a church in the southwest corner of the map. Head inside, and if you can manage to pick the lock on the basement door under the stairs, you should find a workbench down there.
- Reward: Rifle Upgrade Materials
Mission 5: Workbench Location 2
To find another workbench, head to the factory area. You can get there by crossing the bridge on the north side of the map. Once you’re in the factory grounds, follow the train tracks until you reach the factory entrance where you’ll see a parked train. Go into the factory building to your left. On the second floor, you’ll find a locked door on your right. You can either use a key to open it, or if you have a Satchel Charge, that’ll do the trick too. The workbench is inside that room.
- Reward: Pistol Stealth Pack
Mission 5: Workbench Location 3
If you follow the southernmost road on the map, you’ll find a tunnel. Go through the tunnel, and on the left side of the road, you’ll see a room with a workbench inside.
- Reward: Secondary Barrel Mods
