Statue Heads Locations BO6 – Start Blood Sacrifice and Get Gold Armour in The Tomb

To acquire the coveted Gold Armor in The Tomb, players must complete two challenging Blood Rituals, each linked to a specific statue. These rituals are not for the faint of heart, as each statue spawns tough Elite enemies. The first statue, located opposite PhD Flopper, summons Elite Mimic variants with high health, while the second statue near the Roman Mausoleum brings forth Elite Doppelghasts. What makes these rituals especially difficult is the red mist that surrounds the Dig Site, limiting visibility.  Let’s see covers how to collect the statue heads, place them on their respective statues, and complete the Blood Rituals to earn the Gold Armor.

How to Get Gold Armour in The Tomb

To obtain the Gold Armor, players first need to start collecting the Blood Rituals. This begins in the Dark Aether Nexus, the same location where Pack-a-Punch was first unlocked.

  • There are two wooden boxes in the Dark Aether Nexus that players must break open using the melee button.
  • After three or four quick hits, the box will shatter, revealing a statue head inside.
  • Players can pick up the statue head by interacting with it – holdthe reload button.

Statue Head Locations:

  • The first statue head is inside a wooden box directly across from Jugger-Nog when facing east.
  • The second statue head is in a wooden box near a tree in the southwest corner, close to the Ossuary portal.

Placing the Statue Heads:

  • After collecting both heads, return to the Dig Site at spawn, where two headless statues are located.
  • Interacting with the statues will place the heads onto them.

Statue Locations at the Dig Site:

  • The first statue is in the southwest area of the Dig Site, across from PhD Flopper.
  • The second statue is on the east side, inside the Roman Mausoleum, opposite the portal to the Dark Aether Nexus and a possible Pack-a-Punch spawn.

Once both heads are in place, players can hold the interact button at either statue to begin the Blood Ritual. Both rituals must be completed to earn the Gold Armor.

After completing both Blood Rituals, a yellow beam of light will link the bleeding statues to the golden bull statues at the upper Roman Mausoleum in the Dig Site. This beam will then transfer to the southeast wall of the Mausoleum, where the Gold Armor Vest will spawn. The Gold Armor is free for all players to pick up.

To get the Gold Armor, players must complete two Blood Rituals, each tied to a different statue and presenting a unique challenge. The first statue, located opposite PhD Flopper, will summon three Elite Mimic variants, each with an extremely high health pool. The second statue, near the Roman Mausoleum, will spawn three Elite Doppelghasts, which are just as tough to take down.

What makes these rituals especially difficult is the red mist that blankets the Dig Site, significantly reducing visibility. Although players will still have their Armor, their health will be locked at just 1HP, with no way to recover it using Stim Shots or passive regeneration. This means they must survive against powerful enemies in a confined space with no room for error. Below are strategies to help overcome these brutal challenges.

Preparation for Blood Rituals:

  • Players should have at least an Epic (purple) rarity gun and a Tier 2 Pack-a-Punch weapon before attempting the Blood Rituals.
  • For better chances of survival, a Legendary (orange) gun and Tier 3 Pack-a-Punch weapon are highly recommended.
  • Most players should aim to take on the challenge around Round 20, ensuring they have the necessary perks, weapons, and Tier 3 Armor (since armor is their only source of health).
  • Aether Shroud is a useful Field Upgrade, allowing players to escape dangerous situations when cornered.

Recommended Perks & Weapons:

  • Essential perks: Jugger-Nog, Quick Revive, Stamin-Up, and Speed Cola for increased survivability.
  • Additional perks: Deadshot Daiquiri (for better aim assist and critical hits) and PhD Flopper (for explosive resistance, especially when using Sally & Forth).
  • Sally & Forth is highly recommended due to its powerful splash damage, making it ideal for the Blood Rituals.

Combat Strategy:

  • Using the Rare Kill Joy GobbleGum can grant Insta-Kill, making the Rituals much easier.
  • If not using GobbleGum, the best strategy is to stay mobile and avoid being hit by zombies or Elite bosses.
  • Keep track of ammo supplies and ensure there are enough points to buy more ammo at the Ammo Crate.
  • Maintaining armor supply is crucial for survival, as it’s the only form of protection against damage.
  • The Elite Mimics from the PhD Flopper statue are significantly harder to defeat than the Elite Doppelghasts, so players should prepare accordingly.

Scorestreak Trick for Blood Rituals

Players can use a trick to bring a Scorestreak into the Blood Ritual, even though it’s not officially allowed.

  • How to Perform the Trick:
    • Hold the interact button on the statue to activate the ritual.
    • While the ritual is starting up, press the Scorestreak button.
    • This will allow players to enter the Blood Ritual with the Scorestreak active.

Best Use Case:

  • This trick is most effective at the PhD Flopper statue, where Elite Mimics can be extremely difficult due to their electric attacks.
  • These attacks can instantly destroy a tier of armor, making survival much harder.

Recommended Scorestreak:

Use the Mutant Injector, available for 2,500 Salvage at any Crafting Bench. Activating it in the Blood Ritual transforms players into a Mangler, granting:

  • Over a minute of complete damage immunity.
  • The ability to spam melee attacks to eliminate Elite enemies before the effect ends.

This method is likely an unintended exploit, and Treyarch may patch it in a future update. Players who want to take advantage of it should try it as soon as possible before it gets fixed.
