Playing Aniimo with friends gives you the opportunity to explore the world with your friends and play the game in a party format. Before being able to play the game in a cooperative manner, however, it is necessary for you to unlock the “Friends” option. Once unlocked, you will be able to add friends either by their UID number or nickname and join the same party as yours.
How to Play Co-Op with Friends
Playing with friends is not too complicated in the game. However, there are some restrictions that should be mentioned. The first one is related to the fact that the party system becomes available only after passing through the game and activating the Friends function. This function only appears upon reaching level 14.
Your UID is located in the lower-right corner of the screen. Give it to your friends so that they can use it to find you with the help of the Add Friends menu. You can also search for someone using his or her nickname.
Note that both players should be located in the same region or server. Then, when you have found each other, open the Party menu and choose your friend. After joining the party, you will be able to see each other’s instances and play together. You can add up to 4 people to your party.
Co-Op Restrictions
There are some restrictions connected to the party system in the game. You can go through the solo world together, but the actions that you can take when playing in a party are limited. There are also some trading restrictions and other functions that are based on your friendship level. Any wild Aniimos caught will be kept within the Host server only, but Bosses and Alphas can be fought together and also kept with all participating players.
Finding Global Players
If you want to interact with other players on a global platform, then certain places like Astra city, RV parks, campfires, and outposts are the only places where you can interact with players not on your friend list. Luckily, crossplay support is possible, so you can add and invite friends from all available platforms that the game features in.
