Fine Silk Cloth is one of the key upgrade materials for Onimusha: Way of the Sword. If you wish to upgrade Musashi’s armour completely and earn the trophy Dressed to Kill, you must have all 25 of the Fine Silk Clothes.
Fine Silk Cloth #1
You’ll receive this as a reward for completing “The Stage is Set at Kiyomizu”. The Stage is Set at Kiyomizu is the second story mission in the game. In this mission, Musashi heads to Kiyomizu-dera Temple to cleanse it of the corruption spreading through the area.

Fine Silk Cloth #3
You’ll receive this as a reward for completing “A Strength in Refuge.” A Strength in Refuge is the seventh story mission in the game. At the start of this mission, your first task is to head back to your home base at Rokudo Temple and speak with Takamura to find out what you need to do next.

Earned as a reward for completing “Patching up the Pouch.” Patching up the Pouch is the eighth story mission in the game. After gaining a new power in A Strength in Refuge, your next step is to talk to Okuni. She’ll help you get ready for the upcoming battle at Kennin-ji Temple.

Earned as a reward for completing “What Lurks in the Shadows.” What Lurks in the Shadows is the eleventh story mission in the game. After gaining a new ally in An Immortal Talent, Miyamoto Musashi and the group head to Nijo-jo Castle to investigate a possible Genma attack. Something seems to be lurking there, so it’s time to find out what happened.

Head to Underground Level 3 of the Underground Laboratory. After going through the door that requires a mask as a key, look for a chest containing the Fine Silk Cloth.

You’ll receive this as a reward for completing “The Blessed Man” Mystery of Kyoto. Once you find and speak to the man who starts The Blessed Man Mystery, select the quest from your menu. Then, simply follow the marker to reach the first waypoint.

Given as a reward for completing “The Roots of All Evil.” The Roots of All Evil is the thirteenth story mission in the game. After completing Lady Murasaki’s request in The Light of Vengeance, Miyamoto Musashi returns to the story. A dangerous presence has been discovered, but before Musashi can face it, he needs to investigate further and uncover what’s really going on.

You will get the Fine Silk Cloth after completing the “Ace Archer: Nijo-jo Castle” Chance Encounter. Your main objective in Ace Archer: Nijo-jo Castle is to hunt down Kubi Akari. This side story starts when you speak to a man near the Gojo Street – West Spirit Mirror. He’ll ask you to deal with the flying monsters that have appeared around Nijo-jo Castle.

Earned by completing “A Tempest at the Temple.” A Tempest at the Temple is the sixteenth story mission in the game. After dealing with more Malice in Eastern Kyoto, strange noises start coming from Kennin-ji Temple, which you had already cleansed. Now, Miyamoto Musashi must return to the temple and investigate what is causing all the trouble.

Reward for completing “To Live is to Suffer.” To Live is to Suffer is the seventeenth story mission in the game. While making his way back to Rokudo Temple, Miyamoto Musashi is stopped by a frightened woman. She warns him that a murderer is on the loose, giving Musashi another problem to deal with.

When you enter the house in Shanaoh Castle Second Layer, you’ll normally need to crawl through the second level. Instead, head down to the first floor, where you’ll find a pool of blood. Look outside the house in this area for a chest containing the Fine Silk Cloth. Remember, this location is right after the point of no return, so do this one last if you have anything left in the game.
