To get to the secret door and enter the secret cave, you will need to find five gems that each require you to do something different, like finding a hidden coin or playing minigames. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find every gem and what you need to do to collect them all.
How To Find All Gem To Unlock Secret Door
To gain access to the secret cave, you must get all five hidden gems that are placed throughout the area. After you have all five gems, the secret door will be unlocked, and you can receive your prize from there.
It is available only in Freeplay mode. If you are on a standard runway mission, the challenges will not be shown. To start, you should press the teleport button on the left side and go into Freeplay mode. Once you’re in Freeplay, head to the beach. You’ll find the cave on the right side of the beach, along the path opposite the Scarlet Fierce NPC.
Blue Gem
Begin your quest by walking into the mint colored house and then going upstairs. Here, get hold of the hammer by checking the top of the bookshelf. Next, find the big coconut right opposite the house and keep hitting it until you see a coin fall from it. Now, collect the coin and go to the area of the frozen fountain located inside the Recording Studio. Toss the coin here, and the Blue Gem will come out of it.
Green Gem
Finally, go to the blue door, which will take you to the backrooms.
- Enter the Backrooms via the blue door.
- Take a left turn at the chairs.
- Make another left turn at the big chair.
- Walk along the corridor.
- Take a right turn.
- Enter through the hole on the wall.
- Walk past the bed and through the crack.
- Keep moving forward until you get to the room with several piles of dirt.
Dig through the dirt piles until you find the hidden Green Gem. The gem location can vary, so you may need to check multiple piles.
Yellow Gem
In order to make the Yellow Gem appear, you have to light five lanterns located on the map.
First lantern: From the Recording Studio, turn right and walk until you see an unlit lantern at the wall of the building near you.
Second lantern: From the Recording Studio, go through the stairs to your left and then head to the orange house; there you’ll find the lantern near the entrance.
Third lantern: Back to the Freeplay entrance and walk through the stairs to your left, towards the blue house to your right; there you’ll find the lantern.
Fourth lantern: Back to the Freeplay entrance and go down the stairs to your left, until you get to another orange house with yellow and green flags; the lantern is near its door.
Fifth lantern: Walk towards the road next to the beach and find the pink house on your right; go up the stairs and light the lantern. When you light all five lanterns, you’ll find the Yellow DTI Gem.
When all five lanterns have been lit, the Yellow Gem will be visible at the entrance location.
Red Gem
Starting from the previous spot, move to the right, and then go straight ahead until you get to the tree. You will notice that there is a bird at the tree’s side. Approach the bird and start the mini-game by interacting with it. The game is pretty simple, all you need to do is fly through the hoops until you get the notification that you have obtained a gem. The Red Gem will become visible once you do so.
Purple Gem
Get the ball and change it into a beach ball by means of the customisation facility present near the location. Then, locate the volleyball NPC and start the mini-game. In the mini-game,
- Stand within the blue circles.
- Stay away from the red circles.
- Win 20 games.
Once you win the game, the Purple Gem will be yours. After collecting all five gems, return to the secret door. It will now open, giving you access to the hidden cave area. Inside, you will find the Trident rewards.
Opening the Secret Door
After collecting all five gems, return to the secret door. It will now open, giving you access to the hidden cave area. Inside the cave, you’ll need to find three seashells and place them on the correct pedestals.
First Seashell
Find the seashell at the entrance of the cave. Take the seashell and make your way towards the bubble platforms to go to the pedestal area and place it on one of the stands.
Second Seashell
Search for the boat that is located in the cave. The other seashell can also be found near there. Go back to the pedestal area and put it in the next stand.
Third Seashell
The final seashell can be found near a barrel in front of the boat. Take it and put it on the remaining pedestal. After all three seashells have been placed in the correct pedestal, an invisible area becomes accessible, containing the Trident item as a reward. Don’t forget to pick up the Seashell Crown in the same area before you leave. Also, the treasure chest in the starting area of the cave will have a Scarlet Doll if you haven’t claimed it last year.
