Ancient Bark and Ancient Lava are two important crafting materials introduced in the Palworld 1.0 update. They are very useful items for crafting some useful accessories that will help you increase your character’s capabilities and make exploration much easier. However, despite their relative availability, you can find these items in certain parts of the map only. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find Ancient Bark and Ancient Lava, the fastest way to farm them, and what you can craft with each material.
How To Get Ancient Bark
Ancient Bark can be found on the small island, Sanctuary Island No. 1 at (58, -681), which is near the start location. While exploring the island, make sure to look for old tree stumps. These are the resource nodes from which Ancient Bark is obtained. Just break these tree stumps using any weapons or tools and you will get Ancient Bark. There are many tree stumps present all over the island, making it a very good location to farm Ancient Bark.

How To Get Ancient Lava
If you want to farm Ancient Lava, you should go to the island located at the very end of the map’s western part Sanctuary Island No. 2 at (-672, -115). It is recommended to find some special lava nodes among other lava. As they almost blend with other lava areas, you may need some time to find them. There are several nodes which can be used for farming.
The Ancient Lava nodes can be mined using any weapons and mining tools in order to receive Ancient Lava. It is not necessary to have the Plasma Multi Cutter for that or some other special equipment. Even your Bow is enough to destroy these nodes and get the Ancient Lava.
