How To Get Dupin In Palworld

Dupin is one of the powerful Fire-type Pals introduced in the Palworld 1.0 update. This Pal can be used both in battles and within the base due to its high Partner Skill and work ability. But it’s hard to catch, as Dupin spawns rarely outside the World Tree area. In this guide, we will show you where to find Dupin, how to defeat and catch it, its Partner Skill, work suitability, material drops, and all the breeding combinations you can use to catch it.

Dupin In Palworld

Dupin’s Partner Skill is called Trick-Loving Fluffle. If Dupin is in your party and your health becomes very low, it will set off an explosive attack which not only damages nearby enemies but also boosts up your attack stats as well to make it easier for you to win when your health is low.

Dupin is among the best Pals when it comes to working in Kindling. It has Level 7 proficiency in doing kindling-related tasks, and is able to perform tasks like cooking, smelting, and furnace fuelling faster than any other Pal. Additionally, it also has Level 5 proficiency in Handiwork and is excellent at building things around your base.

With Medicine Production IV, Dupin is able to create medicines and other consumables fast at the Medicine Workbench, and therefore helps you keep your supplies stocked. Moreover, Dupin has Level 2 Transporting, meaning that it can transport materials from one workstation or storage to another after finishing its current task.

Once Dupin is killed or captured, it drops Flame Organs and Leather. These materials are used in a number of things that can be crafted. Flame Organs are needed to create different fire items and equipment. Leather is one of those materials that are commonly used in various recipes. Therefore, Dupin is good for farming these materials.

How To Get Dupin

The fastest way to reach Dupin is to go to the World Tree region. Once you arrive at this spot, you will need to visit the Alluvion Lakefront located at (-1638, 1340). It is recommended that you use your mount, whether on the ground or flying, to save time since Dupin could spawn in different locations here.

One of the best ways to farm this location is to start searching for Dupin from the lakefront area and then go down the path which leads to the west. There are several spawn points where you can find Dupin.

If you have not been able to reach the World Tree by now, then it becomes harder for you to catch Dupin. Dupin can only spawn in some particular areas, and mostly one Dupin will spawn in a single area. The chances of spawning are really low, and hence, you may have to visit the area many times. One of the earliest areas where Dupin spawns is the Scars of War (366,-34) area. However, it spawns in just a small part of this area.

How To Defeat And Catch Dupin In Palworld

As Dupin belongs to the Fire type, the best thing for defeating it would be using Water-type Pals such as Jormuntide or Azurobe. With these kinds of Pals, you will be able to damage it better and take some pressure off yourself.

Given that Dupin relies on its close-range explosions and fire moves, the best strategy would be staying far away from it. You should use weapons such as the Assault Rifle or Rocket Launcher and, at the same time, make Dupin engage in fights with your Water-type Pals. It is also recommended to use Heat-Resistant Metal Armour or a more advanced type of armour. It is advisable to have a large number of Hyper, Ultra and Legendary Spheres before fighting. Dupin is usually around Level 72–74, so it can take several attempts to catch.

When Dupin’s health gets very low, stop attacking. If you can inflict a status effect like Stun or Freeze, your chances of catching it will be even higher. For the best capture rate, try to throw your Sphere from behind Dupin. This gives you a back bonus and increases the chance of a successful catch.

Finally, don’t forget to carry healing items. Dupin’s attacks can inflict Burn, so having recovery items and fire-resistant armour will make the battle much easier, especially if you’re fighting the high-level Dupin that spawns around the World Tree.

How To Breed Dupin

You may also be able to get one when you breed two compatible Pals in a Breeding Farm. Then, once it lays an egg, you incubate the egg in an Egg Incubator until it hatches into Dupin.
