This is one of the Pals of the Ice type introduced in the latest version of Palworld 1.0. This is a very strong and useful creature that you can use for battling or ride on, which makes it very useful to have around in your group of Pals. Bastigor Location
In order to catch this Pal, you will have to go into the icy zone around (-1991,1599) of the World Tree biome. Before going into this location, make sure that you are well equipped for the cold weather by either using Cold Resistant Armour or equipping yourself with a Multiclimate Shirt. Additionally, make sure that you have a few Ancient Spheres or Sol Spheres and a weapon for your task. After entering the snowy zone of the World Tree biome, continue searching through the area.
How To Catch Bastigor
As for Bastigor, since it’s an Ice-type Pal, it’s weak to fire-type attacks. Taking a few Fire-type Pals with you will make your work much easier. You can use the Laser Sword and Rifle Gun weapons in order to defeat it. Once the HP of this Pal goes below a certain level, you will be able to catch it using the Sol and Ancient Spheres.
Defeating Bastigor gives you a chance to collect Ice Organs and Leather. The Ice Organs are crafting components that feature in many different crafting recipes, whereas the Leather is a material required to make different types of armor and equipment. This makes Bastigor one of the Pals worth farming for, especially when you plan on making some equipment.
How To Breed Bastigor
It is also possible to collect Bastigor through breeding. All you need to do is put two Bastigors in a Breeding Farm, and they will give you an egg. After getting the egg, incubate it in an Egg Incubator. That’s all you need to get yourself more Bastigors without capturing another one from the wild.
Bastigor Partner Skill
In Blizzard Crash, you can ride on Bastigor as a mount. In its mount form, it fights against opponents with an attack in which it slams them using its hammer made of ice. To access this skill, you will have to craft the Bastigor’s Hammer, which needs:
- 50 Ice Organs
- 140 Paldium Fragments
- 30 Hexolite
- 30 Soralite Ingots
Once you unlock Bastigor’s Hammer and ride Bastigor, its Blizzard Crash Partner Skill becomes active. While mounted, Bastigor attacks with a huge ice-forged hammer, letting it land powerful hits on enemies.
Bastigor Work Suitability
Due to Lumbering Level 6, Bastigor is perfect for getting Wood. This Pal is able to cut down trees fast and get not only Wood but also Fiber, and Logging. The Mining Level 5 makes it possible for Bastigor to do all kinds of mining jobs in your settlement. Bastigor can get Stone and Paldium Fragments, and having Mining Level 5 means that it can also mine Ore and work in Stone Pits, as his level is higher than Mining Level 2. Thanks to its Cooling Level 8, Bastigor is used for keeping your food fresh and not allowing it to go bad for a long time.
