The Rider’s Bow can be found hidden inside a cave in the beginning area near Drax’s hangout camp. The rider’s bow deals 24 point damage which makes it the best early game bow, however you’re going to need 14 dexterity to use the bow. This guide shows where to find the hidden cave near Drax’s camp and how to get the Rider’s Bow.
Hidden Cave Location
From Drax’s camp, head towards the river that’s located near the camp as shown in the above first picture. I’ve marked the exact dive spot in the above second image, jump into the water at the exact spot and stick to the right side of the river.
If you carefully observe under water, you’ll notice that there’s an entrance underwater that leads to a hidden cave. This cave is pitch dark, make sure to equip a torch before diving otherwise you’ll have to navigate the cave blind.
Rider’s Bow
Stick to the right side inside the cave and use a torch to get a clear sense of vision once you’re out of the water and you should find the hidden chest tucked against the rock wall to the right. Loot the chest and you’ll obtain the Rider’s Bow along with few other resources including lockpicks, ores etc, if your character’s dexterity is below 14 you will not be able to equip it yet. Carry it in your inventory or you can stash it in a chest until you’ve reached the required stat.
After obtaining the Rider’s Bow, consider leveling up by completing various quests that can be obtained by interacting with Npc’s throughout the camps. The best way to level-up faster is through questing. Follow along for upcoming guides on Gothic 1 Remake.
