Strong Acid is a mid game resource in Subnautica 2 which is required for advanced crafting like power cells and several high tier components. So learning where to source it and how to produce it reliably saves time and unlocks crucial upgrades. This guide shows both building a Processor and crafting Strong Acid.
Building a Processor
Strong Acid is one of the resources that cannot be crafted using a fabricator, you’re going to need a processor to craft them. You need to build a base first to set up a processor and get started with crafting high tier resources.

Crafting Strong Acid
To make Strong Acid, you need to collect Necrolei Cyst raw material which is commonly found if you head north-west from the lifepod. You can refer to the above image to identify them during your expedition.
After you’ve collected Necrolei Cyst, head back to base and open Processor’s menu, you’ll notice the Strong Acid under refinements section, and craft the desired amount.
