Ingots are materials that are obtained by converting raw ore into compact, stackable materials needed for crafting high tier tools like sonic resonator, base components and vehicle parts. This guide explains how to exactly make these ingots, materials needed and machines required.
Ingots Blueprint

You have probably unlocked the blueprints to craft ingots, but the game doesn’t tell you how to exactly craft them and you probably don’t see an option to craft them at the fabricator. That’s because you can’t craft them at the fabricator, instead you’re going to need a Processor to make ingots.
Building a Processor

You can build a Processor through the Habitat Builder but not before obtaining its blueprint, which you can do by scanning their fragments. These fragments are mostly found at abandoned bases like for starters, you can find one at the Welcome Center. You need to scan these fragments using a Scanner.
Note : You’re going to need a base to set up the processor.
Crafting Ingots

Interact with the Processor under configure processor, there you’ll notice ingots as shown in the above picture. Select the desired ingot that you need and then click on load processor, this will load the materials into the processor and you can claim the finished product through the processor’s storage. You can also craft multiple ingots by clicking on the load processor button multiple times.
Now that you know how to make ingots, you can get back to crafting high tier tools or start building your own vehicle. Follow us for our upcoming guides on Subnautica 2. Let’s explore the deep seas together and survive.
