The Rising Tide is one of the main story quests in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred. In this quest, you will travel across the islands of Skovos, help a group of Amazons fight off waves of Drowned enemies, and continue your search for Lorath. Along the way, you will visit locations such as Athulua, Portemos, and the Temple of Courage while facing several battles. This guide will show you how to complete The Rising Tide quest in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred.
The Rising Tide Quest

The Rising Tide is one of the main story missions in Diablo 4. The mission starts in the Ruins of Broken Reason in the Skovos area. After completing The Soil, The Seed, The Fruit, you will fight the Memory of Inarius in the Pit of Mirrors. When you finish the fight, talk to Lorath and watch the following cutscene.
Once the scene ends, The Rising Tide will begin automatically. After completing The Soil, The Seed, The Fruit, head to Athulua, which is situated just to the west of your location. Proceed to Xanderos according to the quest map, then cross the island and go to Portemos.
Helping the Amazons

Take some time to move through the island and follow the objective marker toward the northwestern area. There, you will see a number of Amazons in a fight with their opponents, who include the strong First Mate enemy. Make sure to defeat all these enemies in order to support the Amazons. Once this is done, speak to Captain Aegel to proceed with The Rising Tide quest.

After talking to Captain Aegel, you will notice that a large number of Drowned enemies will immediately attack you in the marked area. You have to survive the battle and defeat all the enemies attacking you before proceeding with the mission.
Next, make sure to talk to Captain Aegel once again and head to the Temple of Courage, which is situated directly to the north of the Sisterlands region. Upon reaching the temple, another group of Drowned enemies will appear from the temple’s gate. Defeat all these enemies and then talk to Tharra about Lorath. This will complete The Rising Tide quest.
