This hidden activity lets you transform into a powerful little gnome with unique abilities that can help you deal with zombies. It’s simple but easy to miss if you’re not careful enough. In this guide, we will show you how to find all the gnomes and unlock the transformation.
How To Become A Gnome
Equip one of your guns with the Shadow Rift. You must have this mod to be able to shoot the gnomes. In this mission, you are required to find and fire at four different gnomes, who are hidden throughout the entire map. You can pick whichever gnome you prefer and do not have to follow any specific order while doing it. As a gnome, you will automatically fire purple, flaming shots at your opponents. It will only last for a few seconds, but it will be possible to use it again after purchasing the Kneehigh Helm for 6,000 Essence from the shop.
First Gnome
The first gnome is located near Tyr’s Foot, and it is on top of a bunker. You only need to shoot the gnome with your Shadow Rift, and it will vanish in a violet explosion.
Seond Gnome
The second gnome is hidden in the Idcallan Stave Church. It is situated on a table, so shoot it just like the previous ones.
Third Gnome
The third gnome is situated over at Beacon Island. The location is right at the top of a lighthouse. This one can be a bit hard to spot, so using a weapon with good range and a scope really helps.
Fourth Gnome
The fourth, and the closest gnome, is hiding in the Machine Workshop. Climb up some stairs, and you will find a ridge; that is where you will notice the gnome.
After shooting down the four gnomes, they will teleport back. Go over to the shop of Loven’s Antiques. There, you will see all four gnomes together. When all of them are present, you will notice a special item called Kneehi’s helmet. Interact with it, and you will turn into a gnome.
