The Blackbeard Crew’s Maps are scattered rewards that turn ordinary looting into high stakes treasure hunts – each map points to a buried cache filled with Piastre, Silver Ingots and rare Blackbeard Style Books. Because island layouts are procedurally generated, the maps don’t give fixed coordinates; they point you to recognizable points of interest and a telltale skeleton at the dig site instead. This guide walks through Maps 5-9, where to find the maps to the treasure locations, where to dig and what to expect from the treasures so you can spend more time digging and less time wandering in circles and digging aimlessly.
How to Obtain the Blackbeard Crew Maps?
You can find the Blackbeard Crew Maps through various ways as you’re progressing through main or side questlines, mostly through treasure chests that you find at pirate camps.
How to Get Blackbeard Crew’s Maps (1, 2, 3, and 4) – Windrose
Blackbeard Crew’s Fifth Map

When you get the blackbeard crew’s fifth map, a new location will be shown on the map. Head to the location and look for a skeleton – a classic telltale sign. You have to dig the ground near the skeleton basically to find the treasure.

If you’re unsure about the exact location where the treasure is buried, then look for glitter particles after you dig the ground a few times. Follow the glitter trail and you’ll find the treasure.
Blackbeard Crew’s Sixth Map

Head to the sixth map marker and look for a skeleton on the island. Dig the ground right in front of the skeleton and you’ll find the treasure chest.
Blackbeard Crew’s Seventh Map

Head to the location generated after you’ve found the seventh map, look for a skeleton at the location and dig the ground around it to find the treasure.
Blackbeard Crew’s Eight Map

Almost every blackbeard crew maps lead to a different location where you have to find the skeleton and dig up the ground around it and you’ll find the treasure.
Blackbeard Crew’s Ninth Map

During my gameplay, the blackbeard crew’s ninth map sent me to a unique location where the treasure is buried on a small island which is surrounded by another island. Look for the skeleton at the marked location and dig the ground in front of the skeleton to find the treasure.
After some time, these treasure hunts feel repetitive and boring but I wouldn’t mind going on a treasure hunt from time to time.
