Origin of Thoughts mixes precision platforming with a light based ring alignment puzzle, and reaching it is half the challenge: you must thread a chain of fans and floating platforms from riddle square before the real puzzle appears. Once inside the island, you’ll grab and position a glowing Abyss Core, ride up stacked rings and align three rotating rings using the Nexus view to open the reward – all while managing stamina and momentum. This guide gives a clear, step by step route to the island, the exact placement and ring rotations you need and quick tips to avoid costly respawns so you can claim the Abyss Artifact and fast travel point efficiently.
Finding the Control Panel
To get to the control panel that controls the rings that you need to align to restore the abyss, you need to make your way to the top of the rings where the control panel lies.

From the Abyss Nexus, turn left and you’ll notice a few wind turbines that you need to use to gain some altitude.

Then head to the next wind turbine to gain some more altitude as shown in the above image. Then you’ll notice that the next set of wind turbines are deactivated, you need to replace a battery to power them back and glide your way up.
Restoring Power to the Wind Turbines

Once through the second wind turbines, look around and try to locate the structure that is shown in the above image and make your way towards this structure.

You’ll find the battery tucked inside a narrow space under the structure. Use Axiom Force on the battery to move it towards the deactivated wind turbines which are located on the structure that is beside the structure where you found the battery as shown in the above image.

Fix the battery in place and it will restore power to the wind turbines and you can now glide your way up.
Locating the Control Panel

You need to navigate up using another set of wind turbines and when you are at the top, get to the highlighted platform shown in the above second picture.

Inside the space, you’ll notice a small button. Use Axiom Force on it and you can now control the large rings that you need to align to restore power to the central Abyss Core.
Aligning the Rings

If you look at these rings carefully, you’ll notice a knob on each of the rings. And also do you see the 3 knobs that are highlighted in the above picture, you just need to align those individual knobs of each ring under those 3 knobs that are already in place. This will restore power to the central Abyss Core.
Restoring the Abyss

Go down below to the Abyss Core and push it using Aerial Force Palm or Force Current, this will restore the Abyss and you’ve successfully completed the Origin of Thoughts Abyss Challenge.
