Tucked beyond the Skybridge that links the Chaos Forest to the higher canopies, The Roots of Truth Abyss forces you to combine careful platforming with clever object manipulation. Between collapsing platforms, waterfall hidden passages and movable power blocks that must be flipped and slotted into place, the challenge rewards players who plan routes and use Aerial Force Palm and Stab precisely. This guide shows the fastest path in, the exact sequence to extract and position each power block and the safest way to reach the summit and claim the Abyss Artifact.
Path to the Puzzle Area
Head towards the waterfalls, stand close and use the Stab skill to pass through the waterfalls. Then follow the path upwards to the left, you’ll reach the main puzzle area. To solve the puzzle, you need to find and locate 2 energy chips and place them in the sockets to restore power to the large button that you always come across in abyss challenges.
Locating First Energy Cell
Head upwards through the right side just past the first rotating fan that you come across as shown in the above picture. Look for a grated room while traversing above.
Inside the grated room, you’ll notice the first energy chip. You need to use Axiom Force on the chip and then try to push it above through the small opening at the top as depicted in the above picture. After you’ve done that, turn around and head upwards.
You’ll find another opening above through which you can pull out the energy chip and fix it into the socket . This will activate one of the fans that are needed to restore the power to the button.
Locating Second Energy Cell
To get the second energy cell, turn left and head towards the marked location as shown in the above image.
You’ll notice a small opening on the wall inside which lies the second energy cell. Pull out the energy cell and head towards the socket which is near the large fans. Fix the energy cell onto the socket and the power is restored to the large button.
Restoring the Abyss
Then climb onto the button and Force Palm it to restore the Abyss. You now have successfully completed the Roots of Truth Abyss Challenge. Head above the button and you can claim the Abyss Artifact.
