If you want to make travelling easier in the Crimson Desert, one of the most useful tools you can unlock is the Kuku Rocket Pack for Anker, which allows him to glide through the air and makes travelling much faster. While it is not useful for Kliff, it is helpful when Anker is in your party, especially in the later parts of the story, where you will be controlling him. In this guide, we will tell you how to get a Kuku Rocket Pack in Crimson Desert.
How to Get Kuku Rocket Pack (Jet Pack)
The Kuku Rocket Pack makes movement much easier, especially if you’re playing Anker, but it is not available for Kliff. Before you can craft this, you first need to acquire the basic Kuku Pack blueprints. This is possible after Anker is available and after you can access the Witch of Wisdom questline.

Enter the Sanctum of Penitence and defeat all enemies. Next, you will need to repair the kiln. To do this, you will first need to look near the entrance and go to the second floor. If you’re looking at the kiln, you will go to the section behind it on the second floor until you find a doorway to a room. Inside this room, you will find a floating block lodged in a crack in the wall.
Use Axiom Force to pull the block out and carry it back outside. The block should be taken to the back-left tower near the kiln. Rotate the block until the pieces align properly. You will notice leaves appear as the block is close to being in the correct position. Once the block is in the correct position, climb the tower and use Force Push to put the block in its correct position. A cutscene will play with the witch, and she will give the Kuku Pack blueprint.

However, after completing the sanctum, you have to wait until you receive the letter from Grimnire. This will happen as you explore the area around Pailune, and Grimnire’s assistant will approach and give you the letter. Reading the letter will start the mission for the Kuku rocket pack blueprint. After the mission has started, you have to speak with Grimnire. This will activate the crafting option for Kuku items.
Craft the Base Kuku Pack

To make the rocket version of the Kuku Pack, you need to make the basic version of the Kuku Pack first. To do that, you need to have the following items:
- A Peddler’s Pack
- A Kuku Pot
To make the Peddler’s Pack, you need to pick up the one located in the tannery in Hernand Highlands. After that, you can make the Kuku Pot using basic materials. Combine the two to make the basic Kuku Pack. To make the Kuku Pack into a jet pack version by talking to Grimnir at the workshop located in Kilnden Workshop, you need to have the following:
- 1 Kuku Pack
- 10 Iron Ore
- 10 Copper Ore
- 5 Cog Wheels
- 3 Small Batteries
After you have the materials, you can make the Kuku Rocket Pack and put it in Anker’s back slot. The jet pack has the same function as Kliff’s air movement ability. It helps Anker to glide and move in the air much more easily. It requires stamina while active, and using stamina food can increase the time that you can fly. The jet pack can only be used by Anker.
