In Crimson Desert, Renee’s Request is one of the cooking quests you can complete at Hernand. The quest itself is easy, but it might get a little confusing if you don’t have an idea about cooking. The only thing you have to do is cook Fish Porridge just the way Renee wants, and then return it to her to complete the task. In this guide, we will tell you about Renee’s Request to Cook Fish Porridge in Crimson Desert.
Renee’s Request to Cook Fish Porridge

To get Renee’s Request, first, you have to go to the notice board in the city of Hernand. Then, you have to read Renee’s request. Renee’s Request is available for the first time you visit that city. So, you can get this side quest early on.

After reading Renee’s request, you are then directed to follow the quest marker to locate Renee. Renee can be found outside her house running her small shop selling meat. You then talk to her and she asks Kliff to cook her Fish Porridge. She also gives you the recipe and ingredients to cook it.
How to Cook Fish Porridge

First off, it is important that you learn the recipe that Renee taught you. To do this, it is important that you open your inventory first. Then, go to the crafting manual section to locate the recipe. Once you have located it, you can view it to help Kliff learn it properly.
After that, it is important that you go to the cooking station nearby and select Improvise instead of selecting “Fish Porridge” from the list. This is important because if you select it from the list, there are times when it will cause Kliff to cook a different version of it. To get the right mix, it is important that you mix the following:
- Wheat 1
- Salt 1
- Fish Fillet 2
- Water 3
After that is done, press C to bring up the cooking screen for Field Pot. Scroll down as far as you can, and you should see a basic recipe for Fish Porridge near the bottom of the screen. Press Space to select it, and then R to start cooking. Make sure to set the quantity to 3 and press Space to confirm.
When the cooking is done, go back to Renee and give her the items. This will give you a small expansion in your inventory, a small amount of Contribution, and a small amount of Barley.
