In the Kiln Repair section in Crimson Desert, you will find many kilns around the Kilnden Workshop. It has stopped working after the explosion, and each one needs a different method to repair. Some require lining up symbols, others need missing parts fitted back into place. In this guide we will tell you about the Kiln Repair at the Kilnden Workshop Puzzles in Crimson Desert.
Kiln Repair at the Kilnden Workshop Puzzles
In the beginning of Chapter 4 in Crimson Desert, you will find the Kiln Repair puzzle in the Kilnden Workshop. This occurs in the quest line of Mysterious Iron Pot, immediately after the quest in which you investigate the explosion at the workshop.
After talking to Grimnir, you realize that one of the kilns exploded, and the workshop cannot resume operations until all the kilns are fixed. Your next goal is to repair the kilns that were damaged in the Kilnden Workshop.
First Kiln Puzzle
Begin with the first kiln and interact with the switch next to it.
Begin by moving the switch all the way to the right. Next, take one of the wooden pillars and rotate it so that the symbols align properly.
Then, move the switch to the middle position in the center row. Rotate again to hear the click. After this, move the switch all the way to the left to in the next section. In case it does not work, adjust the pillar slightly to align the symbols.
You need to be very precise here because the puzzle only accepts the exact position. Pay attention to a small click sound, which indicates that it is aligned properly. In case nothing is happening, it is likely that one section is off by a little, so adjust it slightly to enable the kiln. Once this is achieved, the first kiln is complete.
Second Kiln
The second kiln is much easier.
- Put the switch into the slot next to the kiln.
- When you have made the connection, push the pillar until the mechanism begins.
- Continue turning until you see a flame.
When the fire lights up, you have repaired this kiln.
Third Kiln Repair
The following kiln consists of three pieces, hence yoi need to assemble it.
- Pick up the big broken part on the right side of the screen and place it on the base.
- Pick up the second part from the other side of the screen and fix it. The pieces will line up properly if placed correctly.
After fixing the structure:
- Use your force palm skill on the ground.
- The timing is crucial; the skill only works within a small time window.
- If it doesn’t work, jump and try again.
- Climb on top of the kiln.
- Use force palm downward on the top section to activate it.
After that, push the pillar next to the kiln to get air flowing in and wait for the flame to appear. That confirms the kiln is active.
Final Kiln
Before reaching the last kiln, collect the fuel pieces indicated by white points on your mini-map. Collect all the fuel pieces near the kiln and move them to the kiln and insert them into the side openings. Once all the fuel pieces have been inserted into the kiln:
- Push the pillar near the kiln.
- Wait for the fire to light.
Once the flame appears, the kiln puzzle is complete. After all the kilns have been fixed, move back to the workshop and speak to Grimnir. Once you speak to Grimnir, the mission is complete.
