One of the parts in the Bustling Hill main story quest can be a bit confusing, as you are asked to dispatch the Howling Hill Expansion Mission, but you don’t know exactly how. The quest marker will also be at the camp, but there is no interaction point. In this guide, we will show you how to send the mission, wait for it to finish, and unlock the camp expansion so you can continue the story.
Dispatch the Howling Hill Expansion
When reading the letter from the Dragon Totem in A Gentle Touch, you will receive the objective to dispatch the Howling Hill Expansion Mission. Instead of following the red marker, open your map and move your cursor to a point of interest. Once highlighted, press the Inspect option.
This opens a special inspection window for this location. At the top left, you will find several tabs. Go to the “Missions” tab, where you will find dispatched missions. Here, you should find the “Howling Hill Expansion Mission.” Dispatch your workers by clicking on the button at the bottom right.
Next, you have to wait 17 in-game hours to finish this mission. After this time has passed, you will receive a message on your screen indicating that the mission is complete. After this, a message on your screen will indicate what to do next to expand your camp. To do this, open the map again, which you used to dispatch your Freeswords, and select the options related to the camp.
When you return to your camp after expanding it, you will find several new tents, carts, etc., which indicate that your camp has expanded as a reward for completing this mission. After this, Howling Hill is expanded, and you may continue your story.
