In Where Winds Meet, you will be helping different characters while exploring the world. One of these sidequests is “Cast in Longing,” a short Wandering Tale that takes place in the Hexi region. In this quest, you will help a man named Feng Wujiang to find the pendant that he had lost in the camp. The pendant looks like a coin with a square hole in the middle tied to a string. Cast in Longing Quest
To start “Cast in Longing” in Wandering Tale, go towards the Peaceward Camp, which is located north-east of Jade Gate Pass in the Hexi region. Once you arrive at the camp, look for Feng Wujiang. He is standing near Pang Miao’s Piaoyao Battleboard challenge.
Talk to him to start the quest. He will tell you that he has lost a very important pendant and will ask for your help to find it. The pendant is near the withered tree, inside the camp.
How to Find Pendant
The writings on the coin have worn down to almost nothing. The writings on the coin say that it is a Dali coin, and it was ordered by General Guo to mint it. Feng Wujiang said that Dali means hope. And a few years back, an envoy came and said that Dali is not being used now.
At the top of the tree, you will see a Copper Coin Pendant hanging from one of the branches. After picking up the pendant, jump down from the tree and return to Feng Wujiang. Give him back the Copper Coin Pendant to complete the quest. Finishing this quest will reward you with Echo Jade, Hexi Exploration, Character Experience, and Coins.
