In the “With a View” quest in ARC Raiders’ Headwinds update, you will need to complete certain important objectives in the Stella Montis map. In this guide, we will walk you through the process of locating the Rotary Encoder, getting to the control room, powering up the server switch, and completing your objectives smoothly.
Quest Objective
The With a View quest is a new addition in ARC Raiders’ latest Headwinds update. You’ll get the quest from Shani, and completing it will reward you with a Tactical MK. 2, five Steel Springs, and five Wires. The quest objectives are revealed to you in an almost sequential order, so you’ll have to complete them one by one.
How to Find the Rotary Encoder & Reach the Control Room
First thing you’ll need to do is find a Rotary Encoder. It’s easy to get one by opening various containers in the Medical Research or area in the Stella Montis map. Once you have it, go to the location shown in the map image above that’s near the Assembly. You’ll see that there is a huge mechanical arm in front of you, from there go right and climb the stairs to reach the very top.

Completing the Quest
Inside the control room, you’ll find a yellow control panel where you can use the Rotary Encoder to activate the server switch. Then, look to your right, and you will find a computer panel. Interact with it to complete the second part of the quest.
Lastly, you’ll need to deliver an Ion Sputter to Shani. You can get one from looting containers in the Medical Research or Assembly area in the Stella Montis map.
