Out in the Buried City, Combat Recon stretches across many corners of the map. Hitting each marked spot matters most – scouting them clears part of the task. Spotter units need to be taken down, one after another. Once those are gone, head back toward Shani. Handing her the retrieved item finishes everything off.

ARC Raiders Combat Recon Quest Guide
Three goals make up this journey, each one tackled inside the Buried City.
You need to:
- Scope out three cover locations
- Destroy two Spotters
- Deliver a Spotter Relay to Shani
Find a Cover Spot in the Garage Stairs
Finding the Parking Garage comes first.
Starting at the garage, find a door you can open – it opens to stairs. After stepping inside, head toward the zone outlined on your map. At just the right place, a notice appears letting you survey the scene. Press the button when ready to finish this part.

Find a Cover Spot by the buses at Marano Park
Head over to Marano Park after that – it’s roughly central on the map.
Over here, broken buses sit scattered across the ground. As you move closer, one of them will highlight. Step into it, then trigger the action to finish scanning.
Find a Cover Spot in the Attics Near Main Street
Finding the last scout spot means heading up into the attic close to Main Street, specifically around Plaza Rosa.
Start at the tagged structure, go in through the bottom floor. Inside, spot the zipline leading upward toward the roof area. When you get to the top, the observation point will be right there. Touch it to complete the final lookout task.

Destroy Two Spotters
Now that the scouting is finished, hunting Spotters begins instead.
Spotters can be mainly found near Main Street, yet they sometimes wander deeper into the Buried City. Take down two, then gather what’s left behind. Among the loot, keep an eye out for a Spotter Relay.
Spotter Relay delivered to Shani
Head back to Speranza after the extraction goes through.
Once you give Shani a Spotter Relay, that wraps up the Combat Recon mission.
