Cloth is used to craft gear. It is also used to make weapons and armour. Hides can be used to make leather by using the Tanning rack. To upgrade your weapon and gear and to progress in the game, clothes and hides are needed.

Cloth Farm Locations in Hytale

You can get cloth from Skeletal towns & Ruins. It can be easily identified by square-shaped camps. Loot everything inside the camps to get Linen scraps, Bone fragments and Decorative banners. In Zone 3, enemies will sometimes drop cloth pieces. Skeleton enemies also drop Linen scraps.

In the Skeletal towns & Ruins, each enemy will drop 2-3 cindercloth scraps, and many camps are not guarded. Which makes it easier to loot the camps.

Light hides are found in the Emerald Grove. You can farm it by killing rats, rabbits, and boars. Rats are found inside the caves. Rabbits, deer, and boars are found above the ground. Medium hides are farmed by killing wolves.

In the desert area, Hyenas and Saber cats are the best options to farm two to three medium hides each. Polar bears also drop 2 to 3 heavy hides in the snow region. In the dinosaur zone, you can kill different dinosaurs to get heavy hides. In Zone 3, you can kill Bisons to get 2 to 3 hides and moose to get medium hides.
