The Snowman boss in Abiotic Factor’s Cryosphere Update can look dangerous at first, but the fight is much easier than it seems. You don’t need high-end gear or perfect combat skills to beat it. Instead, this boss can be defeated by using the environment to your advantage. In this guide, we will walk you through where to find the Snowman and the easiest way to defeat it without fighting it head-on in the game.
Snowman Boss Location
First, you need to head to the Lab area, which is where you will find the Snowman. From there, you will need to get access to the North Pole portal, one of the new portals added with the Cryosphere update. Once you step through this portal, you will arrive in the Snowman’s area. When you arrive, you’ll see the Snowman standing in front of you. Walk up to it and interact with it to activate it and start the fight. Once activated, the Snowman will wake up and start moving toward you.
How to Defeat Snowman Boss
Instead of trying to fight the Snowman head-on, immediately run back toward the train area. The Snowman will follow you. He will not attack you, so just run towards the train. The train passes through this area every few seconds, and it’s important for defeating the boss. Keep circling and dodging the Snowman while waiting for the train to arrive. Once the train reaches the area, it will hit the Snowman automatically.
This instantly takes the boss down. You don’t need to fight the Snowman; the train will kill it for you. After the Snowman is defeated, it will drop several items as rewards. One of the rewards is a carrot.
