How to Get Veil of Stillness
The first requirement for getting the Veil of Stillness skill is to reach level 8. Then go to the southeast part of Moonveil Peak, where you will meet Qiu Yuehai. By speaking to him, you will start the Skill Theft quest. Next, take cover behind the large rock, which is present between him and the master; this will start the mini-game. In the mini-game, you only have to hit the right key at the right moment to get the skill while being hidden behind the rock. Finish it and you will get the Veil of Stillness Mystic Skill.
Veil of Stillness in Where Winds Meet
The Veil of Stillness allows you to slow down your breath and reduce your presence, which, for a little while, prevents enemies from noticing you. It’s a stealth tool, but it only works as long as you stay out of direct combat. As soon as there is a fight, the illusion is gone right away.
While the ability is active, you enter a semi-stealth state where the enemies can find you only after a while. It is a perfect match with the Touch of Death, and thus, you can silently get to the back of the enemies and kill or hurt them a lot without being discovered at all.
