If you’re hunting down all the mushrooms in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, this guide will help you out. Mushrooms can be picked up by either shooting them down or kicking them with a basic CQC move. While many of them are scattered throughout the forests, some only grow in very specific spots. Below, you’ll find every mushroom location along with what they do.

    All Mushroom Locations

You can grab mushrooms in two simple ways: either shoot them with your gun or just kick them using the basic CQC move. Most mushrooms show up all over the game, but a few only grow in certain specific areas, so keep an eye out when exploring.

    Russian Oyster Mushroom

You will find it sitting on a tree stump on the left side of the area. They are awful to taste.

    Ural Luminescent

You will find the Ural Luminescent Mushroom just behind the log on the left side. Small and hard to see, use Thermal Goggles. Glows, but it’s both bad-tasting and poisonous.

    Siberian Inkcap

You will find it at the base of the trees near the log you crawled under. They are awful to taste.

    Fly Agaric

You will find it after dropping down, find them near a tree straight ahead. It’s both bad-tasting and poisonous.

    Russian Glowcap

You will find it at a dead end with a skeleton and a glowing mushroom. It doesn’t taste good, but it can recharge your battery.

    Spatsa

Spatsa Mushroom can be found near the very first tree, at the foot of it. It tastes bad and makes you fall asleep.

    Baikal Scaly Tooth

You will find it at the base of the trees, it looks like a cluster of mushrooms. They are awful to taste.

Decided that degrees were as useful as extra lives in a Mario game-totally unnecessary! I’m diving into the extravagant universe of my favourite game, Assassin’s Creed, which lets me roam the world without actually paying for plane tickets. Hodophile by nature and aspiring to get lost in Hang Sơn Đoòng cave in Vietnam someday!
