How to Get Wheels in Fortnite for Free

If you play Rocket League and also Fortnite; now is a great time to earn some free in-game wheels! Because of the Champions Road Tournament, players have the opportunity to unlock many Rocket League rewards by watching Twitch streams. One of the items, Picture This Wheels, can be used in both Rocket League and Fortnite! Check out the following to obtain all of the free wheels and unlocks easily.

How to Claim Free Wheels

Rocket League and Fortnite share rewards and players will be able to claim cosmetics in both. The Champions Road Tournament provides multiple chances to earn free wheels including Picture This Wheels that also appears in Fortnite.

Starting August 21, you will be able to earn Rocket League rewards by simply watching Twitch streams! Each item is unlocked after a certain number of viewing:

  • Big Splash Goal Explosion – 3 hours
  • Picture This Wheels – 4 hours
  • Rival Wheels – 30 minutes
  • Aero Mage Wheels – 1 hour
  • Patriarch Pro Wheels – 2 hours

Once you’ve unlocked these, you can continue watching in 30-minute increments to earn random paint styles for most wheels (except Patriarch Pro) until you reach 10 total hours. Make sure your Twitch account is linked to your Epic account so rewards show up immediately. If your Epic account is used in Fortnite as well, Picture This Wheels will appear there too.

The final reward, Apex Wheels, requires tuning in to the Rocket League World Championship’s First Touch Live on September 9 for one hour (11 AM–12:30 PM PT). These will unlock in Rocket League, but it’s not confirmed if they transfer to Fortnite.

On top of Twitch Drops, you can also unlock Rave Roller Wheels and a gold variant by bumping into other players during online matches. This runs from August 21 to September 3, offering yet another way to get free wheels.
