It’s not available right away, but once you unlock it, this gun can shred through enemies at close range and even handle groups thanks to its special firing mode. Shotgun in Abyssus
The Shotgun fires at about 1.5 shots per second and holds six rounds in its magazine. Each shot sprays eight pellets, with each pellet dealing 30 damage. It’s a semi-automatic weapon, so you’ll need to pull the trigger for every shot.
On top of its regular fire, the gun also has a secondary mode. This one’s pretty powerful because instead of focusing on a single target, it blasts every enemy within range at the same time. No matter how many enemies are around you, each one will get hit. The catch is that each enemy can only be hit once per trigger pull in this mode. Even if there’s only a single enemy in front of you, the secondary fire won’t hit them multiple times it’ll just count as one hit. That’s why it’s smarter to save this mode for situations where you’re surrounded or dealing with a big crowd of enemies, since that’s when it really shines.
How to Unlock the Shotgun in Abyssus
You won’t be able to use the Bursting Weapon right from the start. It only becomes available once you reach Act 1, Stage 2. When you get there, push through the enemies until you reach the miniboss waiting at the end. Defeat this boss, and that’s when you’ll unlock the Shotgun.
