Mafia: The Old Country – Salvatore’s Apprentice Trophy / Achievement Guide (Chapter 6)

To unlock The Salvatore’s Apprentice trophy in Mafia: The Old Country in Chapter 6, you need to open Brancati’s safe with a special code. But here’s the tricky part, if your character finds the code inside the game, you won’t get the trophy. This guide will show you exactly where to go, what to do, and how to make sure you don’t miss it.

Salvatore’s Apprentice Trophy / Achievement Guide (Chapter 6)

In Chapter 6 of Mafia: The Old Country, just play through the mission as usual until you free Giuseppe. Once that’s done, follow the yellow quest marker, it will lead you into a building directly across from where you rescued him. Head inside, walk down the hallway, and quietly sneak past a guard who’s busy admiring a statue. Keep going until you reach the end of the dining room, then open the doors.

Inside, you will spot Brancati’s safe. Use the code 00-01-02 to open it, and you will instantly unlock the Salvatore’s Apprentice achievement. However, remember not to read any letters or documents lying near the safe. They have the safe code written on them, and if your character sees it, Enzo will “know” the combination, which will stop you from getting the achievement. Even if you already know the safe codes notes from your playthrough, you can still unlock this in Chapter 6 by using Chapter Replay.

Another spot to check is the printing plate chest in the La Guardie building the code for it is 02-19-62. Also, while you’re in the impound yard looking for the whiskey, there’s an office you’ll pass before reaching your main objective. Knock out the guard inside and you can open the safe there with the code 21-10-08. You can unlock both the chests without using the safe codes notes and get the achievement.
