Mafia: The Old Country – Driving in Style Trophy / Achievement Guide

If you’re looking to unlock the Driving in Style trophy or achievement in Mafia: The Old Country, it’s actually pretty quick and easy to do. All it takes is customizing a car, but there’s a small trick to unlocking all the colour options first. This guide will walk you through the whole process step-by-step so you can earn it in just a few minutes.

How to Complete the Driving in Style Trophy / Achievement Guide

Driving in Style is a Bronze trophy in Mafia: The Old Country that you earn by simply customising a car, and you will get 10 points for completing it. When you first meet Pasquale and get to choose a car, pressing RT will take you to the colour selection screen, but you’ll notice that every colour is locked.

Instead of buying colours one by one, head downstairs to the shop run by Benedetta. In the back left corner, on a table, you’ll see a steering wheel and a pot of paint. Buy the paint for 1,000 Denari, and this will unlock all colours for all cars. One of the easiest ways to earn Dinari is by looting it from enemies. Since you’ll be fighting plenty of them as you progress through the story, you’ll naturally pick up a good amount. There’s no option to buy Dinari with real money; it’s a currency you can only earn by playing the game.

Once that’s done, go back upstairs to the garage, and you’ll be able to repaint some of the available cars. The last step is to equip a style to any car it doesn’t even have to be the one you’re driving right now. Just head to any garage, switch over to the Styles tab, and pick any style you like for any car. Once you change the colour of the your car for the first time, you’ll unlock the Driving in Style achievement.
