Wings and Fangs is one of the quests you’ll come across in Titan Quest 2 while exploring the city of Pyrgos. It starts off as a mystery involving the Minyades strange winged creatures that were once peaceful but have suddenly turned hostile. In this quest, your job is to find out what’s bothering them and put a stop to the chaos.
How to Start the Wings and Fangs Quest
To start the Wings and Fangs quest in Titan Quest 2, head to the northwestern part of Pyrgos and talk to an NPC named Otus. He’ll tell you about a group of creatures called the Minyades once peaceful, but now acting hostile for some unknown reason. Otus wants your help figuring out what’s upsetting them and putting an end to the trouble.
Wings and Fangs Quest Guide
After speaking with Otus, make your way northeast out of the village by taking the elevator. Keep heading north until you reach the Southern Farmlands waypoint. From there, go east toward a strange-looking rock formation. You’ll spot a few caves there, known as the Screeching Caves. You can’t enter them, but if you climb higher up the rocks, you’ll come across a group of Icthians making a terrible racket with their shields. It turns out they’re the reason the Minyades have been acting so aggressively.
Use single-target attacks to carefully take out the noisy Icthian Shield-bearers, and try your best not to hurt the Minyades the winged beasts caught in the chaos. Even though the Minyades will attack anything nearby, including you, they’re not the real enemies here.
Once all the Icthian Shield-bearers are defeated, the Minyades will calm down and return to their friendly state. You’ll then be able to speak with the Minyade Leader, who will reward you with a Shiny Stone. The number of Minyades you managed to keep alive during the fight will affect how much of a reward you get. After that, head back to Otus and hand over the shiny bauble to complete the quest. In return, you’ll earn 4,555 experience points and 255 gold.
