How to Get the Panda Hat in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

If you’re playing Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and want to get a fun cosmetic item, the Panda Hat is a great choice. It doesn’t give you extra stats or make you stronger, but it looks adorable and makes your character stand out. Getting it takes a bit of exploring and collecting, since you will need to gather Bamboo Shoots and find the Panda Vendor’s hidden shop. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get the Panda Hat without missing anything along the way.

How to Get the Panda Hat

The Panda Hat isn’t a powerful piece of gear or anything with special stats, but it looks good. To buy the Panda Hat, you will need five Bamboo Shoots, and you will have to visit the Panda Vendor at his second shop location. Bamboo Shoots are dropped by little green critters called Bamboozlings. They pop out of the ground and immediately try to run away, so be quick.

    How to Get the Bamboozlings

Little creatures known as bamboo shoots emerge from the ground and attempt to flee as soon as you approach them. If you don’t remove them quickly enough, they will re-burrow into the ground and vanish. But don’t worry, you can force them to return by resting at the closest shrine.

First Cloudspire Bamboo Shoot – Rebel Camp

We found this one in the Rebel Camp after a bit of chaos. From the Snowy Passage, head into the cave on the right and ride the elevator up to the camp.

Second Cloudspire Bamboo Shoot – Rebel Camp / Cloudspire Outskirts

This one’s right in the middle of the town, near a pyre that keeps spawning undead. Just a heads-up: enemies will be firing cannons at you here.

Third Cloudspire Bamboo Shoot – Snowfall Palace

You will find this one in a small alley to the left of the main staircase that leads into the palace. It’s close to a Shrine, so if you miss it and it burrows away, just rest at the Shrine and it’ll respawn.

Fourth Cloudspire Bamboo Shoot – Shaft Entrance

From the Shaft Entrance fast travel point, head into the tunnel with the swinging pendulum traps. Keep an eye out for a side ledge you can drop down to. Follow that lower path as it winds around, and you will eventually see the Bamboo Shoot.

Fifth Cloudspire Bamboo Shoot – Bride’s Boudoir

This one takes a bit of care. Proceed through the hallways and cells until you arrive at a central area with a bridge, beginning at the Bride’s Boudoir Shrine. You will see a letter or note in the middle of that bridge. Don’t walk onto it yet. First, look to the right-hand side and talk to the Storyteller. He’ll hand you the Bamboo Shoot. If you step onto the middle of the bridge, it collapses and drops you into a boss fight. After that, the Storyteller might be gone, so grab the shot first before testing the bridge.

How to Find the Panda Vendor

Go to the main chamber in the upper section of the palace complex. Step onto the elevator plate, but quickly stepping off it will trigger a hidden elevator that goes down to a secret treasure room. Inside, you will find the Panda NPC, but watch out, because an Inner Demon will also spawn in there.
