Coconuts are a handy resource in Once Human, and many players go out of their way to collect them. They are not just a basic food item; you can use them to keep your hydration up while exploring, and they are also an important ingredient for crafting powerful food like Assorted Canned Fruit. If you are adventuring through Nalcott or building a high-damage weakspot setup, knowing where to find coconuts and how to use them can give you a real advantage in the game.
How to Get Coconut

You can gather coconuts out in the wild, but you can’t grow them yourself from seeds. Another way to get them is by using the Fetch-A-Lot Bunny. If you place this Deviant inside an Isolated Securement Unit on your territory, it has a small chance to bring back coconuts for you.
However, if you are playing in The Way of Winter scenario, things are different. Coconuts won’t show up in the wild at all. Instead, the only way to get them is by cutting down trees with a Silver Pickaxe. When you do this, there’s a small chance to get random fruits, and coconuts are among them.

If you want to speed up the process, it’s worth unlocking the Chainsaw Memetic it makes harvesting much faster. A good place to look is south of Broken Delta, near the Teleportation Tower that sits between Sunbury and Sunbury Middle School. Explore the area, chop down the Coconut Palm Trees you find there, and you will get coconuts each time you cut one down.
You will need to look for Coconut Palm trees near Sunbury Middle School in the Broken Delta. There’s a Teleportation Tower at coordinates (5352.97, -7338.77). Head to that spot, and you will find Coconut Palms growing around the area. Chop them down to collect coconuts.
How to Use Coconut

Right now, coconuts are mainly useful for two things. First, they are a quick and easy snack while you are out exploring Nalcott. Eating one instantly gives you +15 hydration, which is handy when you are on the move.
But the real reason most players hunt for coconuts is to make Assorted Canned Fruit. This food not only restores both your hunger and hydration, but it also gives you the “Cool Head” buff. With this buff, as long as your sanity stays above 80%, your Weakspot Damage goes up by 25%. If you are using a weakspot-focused build like running with the Bingo sniper rifle, that extra damage can make a massive difference.
