How to Track Down the Lethal Rabbit Deviant
To get Lethal Rabbit Deviant, you’ll want to hunt and skin rabbits found all over the game world. However, it isn’t a guaranteed drop. Some get lucky early on and others might have to go through dozens of rabbits before it finally appears. RNG will play against you so bear with it.
Best Gear & Ideal Farming Locations
Gear
Rabbits are fast and jumpy, making them tough to catch without the proper tools. Sniper rifles give you the range to take them down from a distance, while crossbows are quieter and allow for faster follow-up shots. Either works well, so pick whatever fits your playstyle better.
Farming
While rabbits can technically appear in various parts of the map, some spots are much more efficient for farming. One of the best rabbit hunting zones is near Broken Delta at coordinates 4508, -7583. The spawn rate is high, and the area has few enemies or obstructions. Another great area becomes accessible once you reach level 30, just east of the Tall Grass Inn. If spawns seem low or you’re not having luck, try hopping between world instances using a teleportation tower to reset the spawns.
Activating and Using the Lethal Rabbit Deviant
Once you finally acquire the Deviant, return to your base and place it in an Isolated Securement Unit. It’ll begin hunting animals using its Hunter Instinct, gathering Rawhide and Meat over time. To keep it productive, improve its mood by placing a red light nearby, adding a Hydraulic Generator to power the setup, and positioning it close to a fridge. A content Deviant works more efficiently, making the resource collection smoother and more consistent.
