Mods help make your mech stronger and better in Mecha Break. You can collect them from Supply Crates or craft them yourself using the Mod Assembly. Mods can change your mech’s stats, like making it faster, tougher, or more powerful. In this guide, we will explain how you can get Mods easily, what types are available, and how to use them to improve your Striker in the game.
How to get Mods
You can also make a mod in the Mod Assembly. To get there, go to the Hangar, tap the ‘Mod’ button at the top of your screen, and then choose ‘Mod Part Assembly’ at the bottom. To craft a top-tier Mod, you will need to use 10 Advanced Mods, so start saving them up.
You can get mods for your mech by opening Supply Crates. You will receive some Matrix Credits and one random mod for one of your Striker’s systems each time you open a crate. Levelling up your Achievements and finishing missions is the greatest way to obtain Supply Crates, so make sure to meet those objectives every time you play.
Mods come in four rarities: Green, Blue, Purple, and Gold. Even lower-tier crates can sometimes surprise you with a rare mod. Supply Crates themselves come in blue and purple versions, and the type of crate you open affects the quality of mods you will find inside.
How to Use Mods
You can alter your Striker’s stats by attaching mods, which are unique artefacts. The ability to equip a mod may be found in the “Operation Storm” menu’s “Mods” tab. There is always a trade-off because it will always increase one of your mech’s qualities while decreasing another.
Each of the five mod types, Corixium Muscle, Propulsion System, Corixium Skeleton, Corixium Cascade Engine, and Mindbridge Cockpit, relates to a different aspect of your Striker. To improve the performance of your Striker, you can equip up to three mods on each part.
