Shattered Pride Quest Guide – Tainted Grail Fall Of Avalon

Shattered Pride is an exciting quest in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, where you help the Volker Tribe fight off dangerous enemies. In this quest, you’ll explore mountain paths, battle bandits and a powerful boss, and prove yourself to the tribe’s leader. Let’s take a look at how to start and finish this quest step-by-step.

How to Start the Shattered Pride Quest

On the eastern side of the Forlorn Swords is the Volker Tribe Village. To gain entry, speak with the guard at the door when you arrive. A man named Tyge will greet you as you ascend the stairs. You’ll need to overcome him in combat since he won’t let you get away with it easily. You can then meet Angsvar, the chieftain. He lives in his home close to the village’s highest point, by the altar. Angsvar will lead you to a new area of the hamlet that is situated atop a different mountain when you consent to assist the Volker.

Head east from the settlement and continue on the path until it divides into four sections. Choose the one that leads up the mountain when it does. The old Volker Tribe Village will be reached if you continue and cross the bridge. As soon as you’re across, you’ll be thrown into a big fight against several Bandits, some Nameless Dal Riata, and the boss, Ylvren the Awakened.

It’s a good idea to focus on the weaker enemies first to clear the area a bit. Keep moving around the arena so the boss’s bear minion doesn’t catch you; its leap can stun you just like a regular bear, leaving you open to attacks from everyone else.

Once you’ve defeated Ylvren and the others, the quest will move forward. You can now go back to Angsvar and let him know you’ve succeeded. He will also let you know that you can take a shortcut down the mountain by using the adjacent Elevator Pass. If you speak with Angsvar once more, you will finish the Shattered Pride task. You have earned 4,800 EXP.
