If you want to earn the Bing Bong Badge in PEAK, you have to complete a challenge. It’s where you have a green plushie named Bing Bong that you’ll encounter early in the game. To earn the achievement, you’ll need to keep this plushie with you throughout the beginning of your run and all the way to the end. It might sound simple, but keeping Bing Bong safe is key and doing it right can earn you both a Steam achievement and an in-game reward.
Bing Bong in PEAK
When you wake up on the shore after the crash, turn around and look inside the plane you’ll spot a green plushie named Bing Bong sitting on one of the seats. It doesn’t glow or grab your attention, so make sure to look closely at the ground near the broken parts of the plane. You might miss it if you’re not careful. Bing Bong is tied to a special Steam achievement called the Bing Bong Badge.
To unlock it, you need to carry the plushie with you for your entire playthrough and make sure it’s in your inventory when you finally escape the island. If you do that, the achievement will unlock. If you manage to finish your run with Bing Bong in your inventory, you’ll also unlock a Bing Bong-themed hat you can wear as a cosmetic reward.
You can keep Bing Bong safe by storing it in your backpack. Simply place your backpack on the ground, pick up Bing Bong, and put it inside. Bing Bong only needs to be carried to the end by one member of your gang. If you’re playing with friends, just make sure at least one of you escapes with Bing Bong in their inventory or backpack everyone will still get the achievement. This works even if you’re playing on the easiest difficulty.
