Oblivion Remastered – Sorcerer’s Ring Location

Looking to boost your magical build in Oblivion Remastered? The Sorcerer’s Ring is a top-tier item for magic users, and one of the easiest places to farm it is deep inside Robber’s Glen Cave. This short guide walks you through the exact location, what to bring, and how to farm the cave efficiently for your best shot at scoring this powerful enchanted ring.

How to Farm the Sorcerer’s Ring in Oblivion Remastered

If you’re on the hunt for the Sorcerer’s Ring in Oblivion Remastered, Robber’s Glen Cave is easily one of the go-to locations for consistent farming. It’s a compact cave located just south of the Imperial City and makes for a quick loot run thanks to its short layout, multiple locked chests, and a miniboss at the end.

Preparation Tips

Before heading out:

  • Bring plenty of lockpicks – almost every chest here is locked.
  • Create a quicksave at the entrance — this lets you reload if the ring doesn’t drop and try again without any hassle.
  • Be ready for combat — expect to fight off Imps and a Minotaur Lord inside.

How to Reach Robber’s Glen Cave

  • Head south of the Imperial City.
  • Look for the cave entrance on your map or by wandering just past the lake in that direction.
  • Once inside, your farming run begins.

Walkthrough & Farming Route

  1. Enter the cave and save your game right at the entrance.
  1. Move forward and eliminate the first Imp you encounter.
  1. You’ll find a locked chest shortly after – open it and grab anything useful.
  1. Continue deeper into the cave to a small open area with another chest.
  1. Take the path to the right of this chest to access the inner section of the cave.
  1. Defeat the group of Imps blocking your way.
  1. You’ll reach a larger chamber with three more locked chests.
  1. Proceed ahead until you encounter the Minotaur Lord, the final enemy in this run.
  1. Loot the boss chest behind him – this is where you have the best chance of finding an enchanted ring, including the Sorcerer’s Ring.

Repeat for Best Results

  • If you don’t get the Sorcerer’s Ring, reload your quicksave and run through the cave again.
  • You can also explore side tunnels near the main chamber for extra chests to boost your odds.

Why the Sorcerer’s Ring?

The Sorcerer’s Ring grants powerful magical buffs, making it ideal for magic-focused characters. Whether you’re an aspiring battlemage or a stealthy spellcaster, this ring adds serious value to your gear loadout.

Farming this ring might take a few tries, but with a fast route and minimal enemies, Robber’s Glen Cave is one of the best places to do it. Good luck out there, and may your loot rolls be kind!
